pint can courtesy of Buckeyboy. Pours a murky copper color with a small diminishing head that is soon a fine ring. Aroma is all caramel and toffee malts. Taste is more of the same--over the top caramel. Unfortunately I get just a bit of metal in the taste too, and the mouthfeel is not as full as i would have liked. That aside this is a fine beer that I would enjoy again and again. A nice diversion from the IPA hops bombs that seem to dominate my world. Paired well with some mimolette cheese. Also gave me a nice beer buzz at 0900 on a Sunday morning.

16oz can from Buckeyeboy. Copper colored pour, mild haze, thin cap of foamy head. Sweet, toffee malts in the aroma. More sweet malts in the taste, slick, oily, kind of sticky at the finish. Really solid.

Can as "Yellowstone Road Block Lager" purchased in yellowstone. Drank from can. Aroma is a bit roasty with a touch of smoke, oddly enough, grains and noble hops, corn. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body. Not great.

473m can. Pours a clear dark brown with reddish hue and a medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, toffee and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel and bitter coffee with an odd tart note in a smooth, dry finish. Light to medium body with a thin but oily texture and soft carbonation.

473ml can. Pours a hazy copper with a small, short lived off-white head that fully dissipates. Sweet aroma of bready malt, caramel and grain with sour lemon. Sweet flavour of bready malt, grain, lemon, honey and alcohol with sour apple cider vinegar in a dry finish. Light to medium body with a thin texture and average carbonation. Drinkable but very sour for a Heller Bock.

473ml can. Pours a hazy amber-gold with a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready malt, grain, lemon, grass and yeast. Sweet flavour of grainy malt, lemon, bread, yeast and bitter grass with a sour finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A pleasant surprise! An excellent pale lager, quite tasty. I’m not a fan of lagers at all but I would drink this again.
