Bought at Canyon Village in Yellowstone. The village shop had a great selection of area craft beer. A little dank, especially as it warmed. A great looking West Coast DIPA with nice citrus and dank blend.

Slightly hazy deep amber and copper coloured body with a sliver of an off-white head on top, which fades to nothing a few seconds later. Aroma of crisp citrusey and grassy hop notes with a light hit of caramel malts and some biscuity notes along with a dash of flowers at the end, without too much sweetness noticeable and no alcohol. Light to Medium-bodied; Relatively subdued hop bitterness noticeable with more emphasis on the grassier and floral aspects of the hops with some balanced caramel malt and a touch of caramelised sugars towards the end. Aftertaste shows more of a mixed bag with some more alpha acids and hop bitterness, but also some more sweetness and less malt. Overall, a decent enough option on a lower hop, lower alpha acid beer that still has a good malt structure and enough other flavours for complexity to be passable and decent, just not great. I sampled this sixteen ounce pint on draught at the Slippery Otter Pub in West Yellowstone, Montana on 30-July-2020 for US$6,00 while eating dinner with my family outside Yellowstone National Park.

Slightly amber and copper coloured body with a thinnish, pure white head that fades fairly quickly and leaves just about nothing on top. Aroma of light grassy and herbal hops with some perfumey notes along with an earthiness and nutty scent that shows a lot of malts and bitterness along with a tiny bit of sugars. Medium-bodied; Strong nutty and earthy flavours show at first with a large malt backbone with some caramelised sugars and a bit of toffee with some softer hops that show a little bit of alpha acids, but are stronger with the perfumey and grassy notes. Aftertaste is dry and earthy with a caramelised sugar and toffee flavour with a little bit of hop bitterness, but mainly a deep floral hop note with more malt and sugars than anything else. Overall, a deep and malty beer with some lighter sweet notes, some softer hops and a smooth character throughout that makes a relatively easy-drinking beer. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Old Faithful General Store in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming on 31-July-2020 for US$2,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Salt Lake City, Utah on 04-August-2020.

Taster at SHINE. Hazy pale golden, fine ring of head. Aroma and taste offer what seems to be a blend of citrus and stone fruit. Light tartness tingles.

Quite a fruity dark beer with aromas of chocolate, coffee and tropical fruits. The hops leave a slightly over-bitter taste that I'm not a massive fan of, but otherwise it's enjoyable.
