Description
Beer from the Heart of Idaho! That was the dream in 2011, when Kevin Jones & Paul Holle founded Sawtooth Brewery in Ketchum, Idaho. Opening on 11/11/11 in a blizzard was just the beginning. After many years at what is now the Hotel Ketchum, Sawtooth Brewery opened the Public House in Ketchum in February 2016, the Tap Room in Hailey in July 2016, and consolidated production in Hailey in November 2016.

In December 2020 Sawtooth Brewery lauched Atmos Brewing Co. Non-Alcoholic Craft Beer and Creekside Hard Seltzer to round out the product family.

Sawtooth Brewery is now distributed in Idaho, Montana, & Utah and nationwide with Atmos Brewing. They have their Outpost food truck to host events such as Riverfest, Hailey Rocks, Ketchum Oktoberfest, the Sawtooth Valley Gathering, in addition to catering many events and private parties. We brew on a 15bbl Brewhouse and can all of our products in-house.

Bottle from Brewer?s Haven. There are enough hops in this wheat ale to almost pass it off as a session IPA. Hops up front but fade quickly. Pilsener aroma, in addition to the grains and hops, some citrus (tangerine)in the taste. Not a big fan of wheat ales, but this one?s a keeper.

On tap at Brewforia, Meridian. Hazy muddy medium brown with a small light tan head. Light woody roasted aroma. Slightly sour leathery with some bittersweet chocolate. Very light...a robust brown ale I would even say. A session stout, perhaps.

Nice smoky aroma, think fireplace, and some mild smoke in the taste, make this a delicious and easily drinkable beer. Pale amber with thin head, aroma of oak, smoke, and malt. Taste is all about the smoked malt. Silky mouthfeel helps it go down easy. A winner from Sawtooth

On tap at the Barley Bros Brew Fest, Meridian ID. Very dark brown amber. A thin skin of a tan head. Chocolate roasted aroma. Smokey campfire flavor. Full amber like body. Strange funky flavor . Cardboard and wet woody notes. My hunch is that this is not what they were shooting for. Chalky feel at the end.
