Can from a local wine shop. Mojito glass. A very clear, bright & active pale copper color. Smells of Sprite & very faint ginger. Sweet ginger soda accented with fresh honey is basically the theme here. Slick, solid carbonation, more juicy then sticky, low perceived ABV. No peach at all. That characteristic waxy mead note is well hidden. Sweet, but not impossibly so. Ginger turns a touch bitter to save it all at the end. Just don't let things get warm. Okay.

Can from Thirst Merchant in Fort Greene. Mojito glass. Clear & very pale straw body. Head hangs around for a bit longer then I would have expected, but not on a beer level. Smell is waxy, soft potpourri floral, faint acetone & an uncertain melon freshness. Taste is wax, honey florals, watered down Sprite tartness & sweetness, some slickness in the body, mellow carbonation. Taste like a very basic, fresh, low-abv show mead. The waxiness I get with meads never appealed to me, but it's very gentle here. Carbonation wants to be better. Okay.

Bottle. A- Honey, mild sweetness, mild spice. A- Yellow color, clear liquid, no head. T- Honey, sweet. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Lovely stuff. Lots of honey. Smooth and not too sweet. Not sure it's worth $25 at a cidery but still very tasty.
