Bottle - Nice light raspberries and a good tartness. Cloudy orange with a white head. Very tart up front, acidic notes and Berry, finishes with a bit of citric acid. Not bad, but acidity ruins it for me.

Bottle - Nice tart cherry with a bit of funk. Cloudy copper with a rich white head. Tart cherry, light funk and a clean finish. Pretty nice, sourness there but in check and lots of restraint. I like it.

7.8
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8

Location: Bottle from Gem and Keystone, 10/18/14

Aroma: The nose of this beer is tart, fruit, and oak, with some spice notes, and funk.
Appearance: Pours a murky dark orange color with an off-white head, and pretty decent lacing.
Flavor: The flavor is pretty sour, with Belgian yeast/spice, and a good amount of funk.
Palate: It is medium bodied with a lively carbonation on the mouth, and a tart finish.
Overall Impression: This is a nice one, but if it didn’t have pumpkin in the name, I would have had no idea there was anything pumpkin related in here. This is totally an oak aged sour, which I enjoyed, but just don’t let the name confuse you.

6.6
Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

Location: Draft at The Gem And Keystone, 10/11/14

Aroma: The nose has some light hop notes, a little fruit, some light floral notes as well
Appearance: It pours an orange-amber color, mostly cloudy, with a small, off-white colored head
Flavor: The taste is along the same line, some malty sweetness, with a decent hop flavor
Palate: The body is medium, it has an okay mouthfeel, that's just a little off feel-wise
Overall Impression: For me, this was just an okay beer. I just didn't quite work. The flavor is fine enough, but it just feels a little off as a beer overall.

6.9
Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5

Location: Draft at The Gem And Keystone, 10/11/14

Aroma: The aroma is clean and malty, lightly sweet, grainy, floral hops, and a little honey
Appearance: It pours a clear dark gold/orange color with an off-white head and light lace
Flavor: The flavor is light-medium sweet, fairly malty/bready, with a light floral hop bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an easy drinking feel, and a soft, mildly dry finish
Overall Impression: This one was 4.8% alcohol on the menu, but that doesn't matter much. I thought this was a pretty solid, drinkable brew. It is definitely something more unique than your typical, clean, light, mildly sweet brewpub offering.

7.5
Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7

Location: Nitro at The Gem And Keystone, 10/11/14

Aroma: The nose is clean and roasty, some chocolate, dark malts, and dark fruit notes
Appearance: It pours a brown color with a thick froth of brown head and heavy/coating lace
Flavor: Tastes malty and clean, not super sweet, smooth roasted flavor, and a lightly bitter finish
Palate: The body is medium, very clean, smooth and easy drinking, with a clean finish
Overall Impression: I really enjoyed this as an (almost) session beer. Technically it was 5.1% on the menu, but that's okay, close enough for government work. It really hits the spot. If you are looking for an easy drinking dark roasted beer with a low ABV, this is a good choice.
