Stone's Throw Brewing is the creation of four guys who met in the local home brew club, the Central Arkansas Fermenters (www.centralarkansasfermenters.com). Theron, Brad, Shawn, and Ian have turned a dusty buildings in both Little Rock's MacArthur Park and Stifft Station Historic Districts into a successful neighborhood nano-brewery taprooms with a lot of patience from our loved ones and even more elbow grease.

On draft at the brewery. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Aromas of dank hay. Flavors are bitter pine and sweet caramel running underneath.

Sample at the taproom during the "2016 Anniversary Stout Cellared Release" event on 06/27/2017. Brown-black color with a medium thick beige head that diminishes steadily to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Medium to full body with flavors of charred malt, bittersweet chocolate and coffee. The finish is smoked malt and chocolate. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the taproom during the "2016 Anniversary Stout Cellared Release" event on 06/27/2017. The beer is a dark brown color with a medium tan head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee aroma. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, cocoa and coffee. The finish is roasty with a malt and coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the taproom during the "2016 Anniversary Stout Cellared Release" event on 06/27/2017. Clear dark amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to a wispy film. Top ring of lacing with spots underneath. Malt, caramel and fruit aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and a touch of earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the taproom during the "2016 Anniversary Stout Cellared Release" event on 06/27/2017. Slightly hazy orange-amber color with a medium white head that diminishes quickly to a sparse outer ring. Short strings of lace. Citrus, hops and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the taproom during the "2016 Anniversary Stout Cellared Release" event on 06/27/2017. Slightly hazy pale yellow color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lace. Citrus, yeast and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly tart citrus, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is mildly tart with a lemony aftertaste. Decent overall.

Spotty lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of herbal hops, fruit and grainy malt. The finish is malty up front with an earthy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
