6.1
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

Location: Draft at Little Rock Brewpub, 6/18/12

Aroma: The nose has some pale malty notes and a little bit of citrus fruit
Appearance: It pours a cloudy golden-straw color with a hint of orange, and a white head
Flavor: Tastes similar to the nose component-wise, it is light sweet and a light bitter
Palate: The body is fairly light as well, with a fairly soft carbonation and high drinkability
Overall Impression: I’m glad I get to add a new beer to Vinos, as this will most likely serve as my last Vinos rating. Though I have sampled quite a few of their beers over the last year, I don’t expect to be back in Little Rock anytime soon, so farewell Vinos, keep up the good work of making some of the best micro brews in Little Rock, and some of the best calzones too! As for this beer, I thought it came out a solid Kolsch, it is certainly not the best thing Vinos makes, but it was a more then adequate example of the style. It is a light, soft-drinking beer that works reasonably well in my opinion. Thanks for another solid offering Vinos - I’ll miss your chill atmosphere and cheap beer prices!

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7

Location: Draft at Little Rock Brewpub, 6/18/12

Aroma: The nose is rich and malty, with caramel, earth, toffee, and dough
Appearance: It pours a dark orange-brown with a small beige head and medium lace
Flavor: Tastes similar to the nose, with the malts being predominant, but the earthy hops balancing
Palate: The body is medium, and it has a pretty good mouthfeel, with a smoothish finish to it
Overall Impression: I thought this was a very nice, and highly drinkable ESB. The aroma was just a hint above the taste for me. The pour and feel were both fairly impressive. I found this to be well-made and quite thirst quenching. Good stuff from Vinos.

6.6
Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

Location: Draft at Vino's, 4/17/12

Aroma: The nose is somewhat roasty, some nutty notes, toast, and sweet malts
Appearance: It pours a brown-black color with a foam of tan head and medium lace
Flavor: The flavor is mid sweet, it is both malty and lightly roasty, with very little bitterness
Palate: The body of this one is light-medium, with a soft carbonation and a smooth drinkability
Overall Impression: It thought this one was a solid stout, rather sweet stout. It has some pretty good components to it, and it drinks really nicely. It is, however, also a touch thin. Still though, it is a solid, drinkable beer.

7.4
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5

Location: Draft at Little Rock Brewpub, 3/7/12

Aroma: The nose has a ton of citrus hops with some underlying caramel notes
Appearance: The pour is a murky orange-brown color with a beige head and lots of lace
Flavor: The flavor is mid-sweet, caramel and citrus, with a medium-plus bitterness as well
Palate: The body is medium-full, with a thick, creamy feel, average carbonation, and a dry, sticky finish
Overall Impression: Overall, this is a pretty darn solid IIPA. The flavor doesn't quite live up to the promise of the big citrusy nose, but it has a nice balance between the sweetness and the lasting bitterness. I was fairly impressed.

5.4
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 1/3/12

Aroma: The nose is caramel malts, a little toffee, and some bread
Appearance: It pours a muddy reddish-brown color with a small beige head
Flavor: The taste is medium (plus) sweet, like the nose, with minimal bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, with a soft carbonation, and a slightly creamy feel
Overall Impression: I found this one to be a solid Amber. I'm not sure why this is listed as an Old Ale, it seems to me to be a run-of-the-mill amber. Decent, but not particularly exciting.

5.9
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 10/11/11

Aroma: The nose is fairly light, cereal/bread malts, grains, and a little caramel
Appearance: This one pours a mostly clear golden color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is fairly light as well, grainy, light sweetness, and mild hop bitterness
Palate: The body is light and clean, but not really that creamy, still fairly drinkable though
Overall Impression: Overall, this a solid and drinkable beer, but it is a touch dull, and doesn't really have that typical cream ale feel to it that I was expecting from this style. Still though, it isn't bad, but it won't knock anyone's socks off either.

6.6
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5

Location: Draft at the brewpub, 11/16/11

Aroma: The nose is kind of light, with some citrus hops, caramel, and nutty malts
Appearance: Pours a dark brown color, with a small beige head, and fairly heavy lacing
Flavor: The taste is pretty balanced, leaning hoppy, with similar flavors to the nose
Palate: The body is medium, with a decent mouthfeel, and an average carbonation
Overall Impression: A solid Black IPA. It isn't particularly hoppy, but it has a decent flavor. A nice balance between caramel and nutty malts and some hops. I just added this one, I think it is a fairly new offering from Vinos

Aroma: Caramel malt nose mostly, some bread and spice notes

Flavor: This one has fairly malty flavor as well, similar to nose
Palate: It has a medium body, soft-to-average carbonation, and a decent mouthfeel

5.6
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 8/2/11

Aroma: This beer has a somewhat mild malty and hop aroma
Appearance: It pours into the glass a brownish-orange color
Flavor: This one has a not too sweet flavor with a decent bitterness in the later palate
Palate: It has a mid length palate with a medium carbonation, and a somewhat decent mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This is decent, but ultimately uninspired stuff. I wouldn't really rush out for this one again. It isn't near the top of the style or near the top of the couple of beers I have tried from this brewpub, so I can't see me having another one on a future visit.
