7/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 6 Overall 7
Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 8/2/11

Aroma: The nose is fairly typcical of the style: wheat, yeast, banana, citrus, and clove
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color with a decent sized white head
Flavor: The taste is made of almost the same components as the nose, decently sweet
Palate: The body is medium (but leaning light) with a fairly decent, smooth mouthfeel to it
Overall Impression: This one was surprsingly good. I can't say that I was expecting a ton from it, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'd drink this one again, especially if I wanted something in this style and something made here in Arkansas.

6.4/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 7 Texture 6 Overall 6.5
Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 6/20/11

Aroma: The nose is roasty, some chocolate, and a little bit of burnt malts
Appearance: It pours dark brown with a small light brown head and no lace
Flavor: The taste is roasty and burnt, like the nose, with a chocolatey sweetness
Palate: The body is a touch on the watery side, smooth, and fairly creamy, with a rounded mouthfeel
Overall Impression: To prove that whole top rater of Little Rock thing was just a joke, if I was really trying to be the top rater of Little Rock, I would have tried all 3 of the beers they had, but I just tried the 2 on this trip (this one and the IPA). This one was a decent stout, but it was fairly one dimensional. Still though, it had some nice flavors.

7/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 8 Overall 7
Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 6/20/11

Aroma: The nose is fairly hoppy, with some pine, citrus, as well as floral notes
Appearance: The pour is cloudy and orange with a decent off-white head and some lacing
Flavor: The flavor is lightly sweet up-front, good hop presence, with an appropriately bitter finish
Palate: The body is medium, with a fairly creamy mouthfeel, a touch sticky, with a fairly dry finish
Overall Impression: In my attempt to become the number 1 rater of Little Rock beers I have just ticked my 2nd brewery! So I'm sort of kidding here, but I have tried what maybe Little Rock's only 2 breweries now, so that's fun. As for this beer, it was actually a very solid IPA, I was a little surprised, I wasn't expecting it to be this good.
