15/11/2022. Can bought at Casino supermarche, Geant Sainte Marie, Noumea. Pours clear pale greeny gold with a small short lasting white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, malt, light hop. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness with a slight tart edge. Light bodied, watery, fizzy. Fair.

14/11/2022. Can bought at Casino supermarche, Geant Sainte Marie, Noumea. Seems that this lemon version has replaced the previous mixed citrus version. Pours clear bright golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of lemon, washing up liquid, drizzle cake, malt, syrup. Quite sweet with light bitterness. Moderate body, oily, average carbonation. It’s not good but okay for what it is. Doesn’t seem like 5%.

14/11/2022. Can bought at Casino supermarche, Geant Sainte Marie, Noumea. Pours clear dark golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of sweet malt, metal, stewed fruits, cardboard, boozy notes. Medium plus sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Certainly gives extra booziness to the standard Number One but don’t think it improved it much.

14/11/2022. Can from Discount Trianon, Nouméa. Pours clear golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of lemonade, light hops, grass. Quite sweet with low bitterness. Light body, watery, average carbonation. If you want a sweet 1% lemonade shandy when in New Caledonia - or are desperate for another local tick - then choose this. Otherwise better to avoid.
