Can from Mr Barleywine, thanks for the opportunity! Hazy dark yellow with a decent frothy white head that persists. Earthy pine bitter astringency and butterscotch. Ringwood yeast sucks!

Sample at the NH Brewfest in Portsmouth 10/14/23. Pours a mostly hazy light amber color without much of a head. Sweet bready light caramel and hints of toffee. Bitter earthy grassy with bits of citrus fruit. not bad.

On tap at Scaly’s Irish Ale House in West Yarmouth. Translucent cola brown color. Small beige cap. Toasted dark malt aroma. Flavor is sweet roasted malt. Notes of toffee and toasted bread. Very little hop presence. Sweet and malty though and through. Dry finish.

Pours pale yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma of soft lemon. Immediate smokey notes on the nose, expands onto the palate. Palate has tons of wood smoke on the nose, lingering, some lemon oils, nondescript citrus pith. Quite good.

Pours black with a frothy white head. Aroma of rye bread. Taste has smoked wood notes, some brown sugar notes. Smooth mouthfeel. Palate has some of the typical coffee and roasted malt elements, more wood smoke. Good.
