A little hazy but this is a golden hazy pour. The aroma is really great. Cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg. This is really good! Cinnamon is very pronounced. Lovely christmas spice. It’s very sweet, the clove is pronounced and lingers. It’s really special in the way the spice doesn’t overwhelm anything

750 ml bottle shared by Willrunforbeer. A Amber hue that is nearly clear. Aroma is mild spice, cinnamon, light clove, honey.
Flavor has a mild Christmas feel to it. The spice is balanced with the sweet honey notes. Spice is just right and not overdone. Cinnamon hints my palate the most. Mild clove. Pleasant drinking mead.

Bottle from Damon’s in Augusta. Pours a solid crystal clear golden color with a red/pink hue. Aromas of cherry, light honey and a touch of alcohol. The flavor is bright cherry with faint honey, and bit of herbal flavor and a touch of warming alcohol. Decent mead, but for my tastes it could have bee a touch sweeter and a bit more honey character.

Bottle sample at the meadery - big thanks to the generous hosts! Pours clear, pale yellow. Nice mead, not cloying, with pleasant notes of flowers, dry wood. Full bodied. Lightly warming on the finish with accents of lemon, florals. Not terribly complex but it’s good stuff overall.

Bottle sample at the meadery - thanks very much to the hosts! Pours clear, pale yellow. Light to medium sweet, then the chili burn kicks in. There’s quite a bit of assertive heat, though thankfully it doesn’t get out of control. Medium bodied and somewhat soft. Hot and tingly on the finish with lots of pepper, dry spices. Lingering chili burn. The pepper burn is robust but I don’t think it goes over the top. But it definitely cleans you out. Not bad.

Bottle sample at the meadery - many thanks! Pours clear yellow. The nose holds ginger and cinnamon. Crackers. Big sweet flavor with light biscuits, pale bread, slight buttery syrup. Full bodied with lightly chewy. Fairly warming to conclude with a bit more cinnamon, further biscuits. Novel. Not bad.

Bottle sample at the source. Clear golden color. Aroma of floral honey. Taste starts sweet but then is overtaken by heat.
