RBJG2. Late night drunken rating. Got my numbers and not much else apart from what follows. Aroma bit banana wheaty bit of bitterness. Taste is nice and soft, bit sweet, pretty good. 8 3 0 3 15 Re-rated at Keyaki festival. Sounds like a different beer... Amber bit cloudy. Aroma is sour plum. Taste is good, nice sourness, fruity, slight spritziness. Pretty interesting. Peach or plum, not sure. Nice. Strangely different, but this is what we asked for and this is what they told us it was.

Tap at Keyaki. Golden amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is grassy hops, bit of citrus. Taste is more malty, but still good citrus bitterness. Maybe bit of a real ale texture to it.

Tap at Keyaki Spring 2019. Malty, grainy nose. Lemony, spicy, straw and hay. Creamy, sweet malt flavor, soft body, strong farmhouse feel to it.

Tap at Keyaki Spring 2019. Rich chocolate malts in the nose with vanilla and sansho. Flavor is rich chocolate, just enough vanilla to keep things in line, and a stinging, citrusy sansho. Great balance, not too sweet, the lactose is not overdone.

Tap at Keyaki Spring 2019. Tart, funky nose, lemon, plum. Soft, smooth body, nice soft tartness. Refreshing and balanced.

brown color. Big sweet nose with tons of chocolate vanilla with Sansho in the background. Very full body. Modestly sweetThe sansho is very strong in the finish. Executed well enough, but not sure if I am looking for a VSOP type of beer.

On tap pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is grain forward a little belg spice nutty and a touch of hops. Taste is more of the nice malty notes some spice and a earthy touch.

Bottle, picked up from SMBL2018. Pours nice full brown with some light bubbles on top. Nose is smoky for sure, leather and roast, quite dry and keeps malty body quite in a good balance. Taste is also dry, light smoky tingle covering everything, some roast and well taken balance again, also in flavour. Immensely satisfying and top notch!

Tap at Komachi. Requisite juuicy nose, pineapple, orange, mango, wheat, spices. Dry flavor, lots of tropical fruit, grapefruit zest and even pith, papaya, 7-Up. Hay golden orange. A bit of strange astringency takes it down.

dark red color. Very malty with tons of red wine, dried strawberries and Baltic rye bread. The description says this should give you the image of a red velvet cake - but then they add a few things. Very interesting beer. I really grooved on it, but not everyone will.
