Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a golden bronzed color with a thin white foamy head. Mild dissipation. Sly stringy lace.
The aroma had spicy sharp rye to bitter citric hops. Some toast invades.
The flavor keeps the spicy sharp crisp rye melding nicely with the hops and bites into the aftertaste decently. Some of this rides into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation felt right.
Overall, nicely done rye pale ale that if I could I would have again.

Poured into a mug, the appearance was a ruddy golden orange sort of muddy color. Thin white foamy head. Moderate lace.
The aroma had some smoke, apples, soft caramel malts and then some breadiness.
The flavor had a sweet smokiness to it, really nice blend. Malts are clean and full with a nice smooth aftertaste rolling into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. Smooth smoky silkiness clings appropriately to the ABV and feels very well done along my tongue.
Overall, holy cow, what a damn good smoked beer. I never would have thought! Wish I could get this on a daily basis.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a semi-dark brown color with a thin cap of a white foamy head that dissipated at a moderate pace. Sly messy lace.
The aroma had a ton of milk chocolate up front with some light mint in the background. Some cereal tones further underneath.
The flavor leans to the sweet side with the chocolate and cereal qualities. Mint comes out after a little bit of warming. Milk chocolate aftertaste with barely any mint. Quick semi-sweet chocolatey finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. Fair smooth on my tongue.
Overall, seems more of a chocolate stout with some mint far underneath. Do-able. I could have again, but mint lovers might want more mint.

Draft pour pint at Airways. One of 3 beers they have on at the kitchen taoroom, as they move and expand. Clear golden pour with a rocky foam head and lace. Soft grains and hops aroma. A refreshing blonde with good hop character. Semi dry finish. Very pleasant overall.
