Rocky white head, good lace. Initial large head, but quite fastly fully diminishing. Hazy amber colour. Apple-citrus aroma. Initial moderately acidic flavour. Lightly acidic finish. Fizzy mouthfeel. This a good gueuze indeed.

[Vintage 1995, bottled 2000, sampled 2004] The color is a hazy dark yellow and it has a small lasting white head. The aroma is very nice sharp and sour - just like a lambic should be. The flavor is a sharp fresh lambic flavor with notes of lemon. The end is very dry and lemony. It is somewhat flat from low carbonation, but it is very fresh for a beer bottle 4 years ago and brewed 9 years ago. A great lambic.

[Mine was an Oude Kriek] An unclear red beer with no head. the aroma is sweet cherries. The flavor is dominated by cherries and wood and only slightly sour. It has a very dry and somewhat sour end.

A dark yellow beer with a beutiful lasting lazing head. The aroma is a nice sharp wildfermentated one. The flavor is very fresh with sourness as grapefruits and limes. the end is very dry and woody. A great gueze - and very lively after 1½ years in th bottle.

Very pale hazy orange, a bit like witbier; huge, fluffy white head, dissipating. Yoghurt, "horseblanket",lemony, some wet wood, grapefruit, pineapple. Tart, but not very outspoken. Again pineapple, wood, lactic acid. Very mild gueuze, but unsweetened. Very refreshing, light tartness, very little acidburn. Long lactic-sourish aftertaste. A very good 'beginners' gueuze - beginners with the real stuff. Though it doesn't seem to work for jerohen...

Virtually no head. Clear-red beer. Vinous nose, fruity, not expressly cherry. Sour cherries in the taste, fresh fruit-like, not overly lambic-y. Yet very acidic. Very carbonated too - a bit too much even, the absence of head notwithstanding (rimes with the backgroundflavour of cherry-stones). Nice kriek - promessing. There was no label available, so no more details about age. Overwhelmingly good for such a young blender.

Hazy amber-orange. No head. Winey, lactic, strange breath-taking sweetish smell. Taste is sweet, vineous, with immediate retronasal lemon/citrus-like acidity, liqueurish without alcohol. Dry-effect, acid-burn is there but compared to some others, low. Better filled palate than some lambics. Nice, but very unusual lambic. I wonder where this milk-sweetness derives from.

Cloudy beige; good sour character; a little fizzy; some sweet malt, leather. It's good, but I'm not sure where I would place it in the gueuze hierarchy. It seems to have less sense of purpose than the others.
