Aroma features mold, green cheese and hay - overall fresh though. Cloudy apricot, low head. Extremely dry, barn and leather plus the atromanotes. Excellent!

Bloody bright red note. Very fruity. Very tart, with a nutty finish. Huge lambic goodness - full flavour, fairly clean, nutty and very refreshing.

Cloudy dull tan. Rich lambic aroma - smelly shoes, farms, washed-rind cheeses, cork and other fun things. Mostly flat, finishing slightly sweet (for the style), but it’s good lambic.

1995 lambic bottled in 2000 and drank in 2004. Poured a pale hazy yellow beer with almost no carbonation, which was to be expected. Nose of citrus and a bit of acidity. Taste is quite dry and sour with a surprising but welcome subtle sweet ending. Again notes of citrus (lemon/lime) are present. I’m not expert on what should unblended bottle lambic should taste like but I can say that this was a real good experience. Too bad I probably won’t be able to get my hand on some of this again.

Cloudy pink color, short head. Aroma is tart, fruity krieken, oak wood. Sweet kriek taste, some tartness, nice balance. Sour palate.

This lambic has a deep red body. And because of the lac of any head, you could give this-one to a wine-connaisseur and he would think you gave him some kind of Bordeaux-wine (the idiot :)) Nose of sweet cherries and smoke. Moderately sweet, lightly acidic initial flavour, which is very fruity (cherries), although not (too) sweet.

Hazy body. Amber-orange colour. No head. Nose of wine, grapes and flowers. Lightly sweet, lightly acidic initial flavour which is very fruity. Lightly sweet finish. According to me, this is a superb lambiek. As a matter of fact, I do not think this needs a lot of blending, pour it into bottles and deliver us a magnificent product!

(Bottled old lambic) Pale, hazy chromate yellow; slim white rim. Citric, horse blanket, saddlesoap, wood and sulphur - all the ingredients for a classic lambic nose. Dry, citric, slightly lactic and fruity taste (not tasting very much as ’old’ lambic). Not much of a palate. Very dry. Aftertaste is again very sour, both lactic, grapefruit, citric. Very good lambid, but not very distinctive lambic. It’s still searching its real potential. (More than) good points for the try, anyway.

Bottled. Cloudy bright red. with small pink head. Ripe cherries struggle to overpower grassy hops in th earoma. Initial syrupy cherry sweetness is turned into burning citric acidity. Clean mouthfeel. Well crafted, but lacks the sparkling, lively mouthfeel of the top examples of the style.

Bottled. Hazy pale orange. Hay and cobweb aroma. Barnyardy with medium acidity, fairly hard, dense mouthfeel. Strikingly hoppy for a lambic. Bitter finish with a touch of iron.
