Keg at the brewpub, 19/02/15. Lightly hazed rich amber with decent beige edgeing. Nose is toffee, hint of vanilla, dark fruit shreds, light spice. Taste comprises earthy vibes, caramel, dark fruits, sliver of noble hop, tea leaves, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.

Keg at the brew pub, 19/02/15. Clear golden with little in the way of a head. Nose is musty, toffee, fruit rinds, light orchard notes. Taste comprises dark fruits, caramel, biscuit malt, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Sub par for style ... one for ye olde caske program me thinks!

Keg at the brewery tap, 19/02/15. Hazed light orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose is melon, light citric vibes, pale malt, straw. Taste comprises bready malts, melon, vanilla, light citric pith, lemon drizzle. Medium body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but failing to get much in the way of hoppage.

Keg at the brewery, 19/02/15. Reddish amber with a decent light beige covering. Nose is spice, caramel, toffee, dark fruits, dates, figgy jam. Taste comprises sweet licks, spice, cake mix, toffee. Medium + body, fine carbonation, light warming alcohol in the close. Ok barley wine but ultimately fails to deliver when considering the ABV.

Keg at the brewery tap, 19/02/15. Black topped with a moderate tan swirl. Nose is earthy, dark fruits, spice, hint of yeast. Taste comprises fusty tones, earthy, spice, dirt, dark fruit rinds, toffee, raisens, light cocoa rub. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Thoroughly whelming stuff, delivers very little on the ABV.

Keg at the brewery tap, 19/02/15. Black topped with a tan covering. Nose is light roast, charr, cocoa powder, not a whole lot going on. Taste comprises earthy roast, chocolate, touch of hoppage, spice, earthy. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, over carbed, semi drying close peppered with roasted tones. Low end for the style, never gets out of first gear @pedestrian impy.

Golden amber topped with a moderate off white swirl, Nose is pale malts, straw, citric sherbets, a touch musty/fusty - not smelling too fresh for the style despite being on tap at the rewery. Taste comprises melon, citric peel, lightly toasted bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Lacklustre, never got out of first gear.

Keg at the brewery, 19/02/15. Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a decent tan covering. Nose is roast malt, biscuit, cocoa rub. Taste comprises light roast, dark toffee fudge, chocolate, earthy, light charr. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok porter.

Keg at the brewpub, 19/02/15. Golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is citric peel, orange squash, straw, light bread. Taste comprises bitter orange, citric pith, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok hoppy sessioner.

Keg at the brewpub, 19/02/15. Reddish amber with a decent beige cviering that dissipates then retains as a swirl. Nose is earthy hop, candied fruit peel, caramel, citric pith, red grapefruit. Taste comprises earthy hops, pine needle, blood orange, light spice, candied fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spattering of hops. Decent enough hoppy amber.
