Not a whole lot going on; very dry, with a slight bit of citrus on the finish. Easy to drink, but the Belgian side never comes through. Still, the lack of sweetness keeps this beer from becoming thick and clingy, and the fade is quick and mildly tart. The packaging earns a couple extra bumps.

A "world-famous" in-house beer from T-Bonz. Dear lord. This brew isn’t nutty, isn’t brown, but I feel confident that it is an ale. Proves that T-Bonz brews are for those who think of Killian’s Red as craft beer. (2008)

A deeep dark porter with a very thin off white head. A strange beany chocolate aroma, with light oaken notes. In mouth, a rather bland porter with light chocolate and light vanilla, rather simple and plain. On tap at Brewvival, Feb. 26, 2011.

12 oz can from my Winter 2010 Secret Santa. Pour is a slight haze yellow with a hint of lime green. Nice one inch pure white head that falls with lacing. Aroma is wheat, mild citric lemon orange element along with lighter floral yeast and coriander. Nice fresh nose. Taste is the nose, though the wheat has a bit of wet straw to it. The orange, lemon and coriander are lightly spiced, but pick up the wheat taste a bit. The palate is medium to light bodied, low carbonation gives it a bit of a flat taste, and the finish is a tad watery. Considering the low abv on this beer, quite nice tasting. Thanks Santa!

On tap at the Charleston Brewvival on 02/27/2010. Cloudy orange body with a large frothy white head. Big floral hop aroma. Big floral and resiny hop flavor. Medium full body with moderate carbonation.

On tap at the Charleston Brewvival on 02/27/2010. I have this written down as Winterfest. Clear copper body with a medium creamy white head. Sweet caramel and vanilla aroma. Big vanilla flavor with some caramel. Medium body with moderately low carbonation.

Draft at Brewvival: Light dandelion bouquet. Hazy orange, medium yellow head. Nice honey and marigold flavor. Dandelion finish. Floral for an amber lager, but I thought it was good. Not tinny at all.

Draft at Brewvival: Dirty barley nose. Clear brown, thin yellow head. Flavor is of coffee and dirt. Dusty, especially afterwards. Very portery, with a little personality. Pretty nice.

Brewgrass 2009 Nitro Light gold with a lasting off-white head. Very light floral hop aroma. Bitter with too little malt balance. Neds a bit more malt and a lot more hops to balance this out.

Sampled on tap at Barley’s in Asheville. Pours a pale clear golden with a medium head. Poor head retention and decent lacing. Aroma is strongly corn with some grassy hops. Taste is grain and extraordinarily bitter grassy hops. Thin bodied. The bartender actually said "I hope you don’t like this." I didn’t. On tap for the BMC crowd I guess.
