On tap at BAM Fest. Pours with a lightly hazed copper hued body with a small, frothy just off-white head. Intense tropical fruit fruit notes with light esters and light caramel. Fresh and vibrant citrus, lightly grassy hop nose. Flavors also showcase tropical fruit, medium bitter, lightly grassy with grapefruit and orange zest notes. Light esters and a light caramel sweetness. Medium to low carbonation. Light bodied. Tastes just a bit more vibrant than the regular version of Hutash. Very tasty.

On cask. Pours with a hazed olden body with a frothy white head that lasts for a while. Very interesting aroma. Strong lemon and lime notes, light apricot and stone fruit with some curry and cumin. Minimal malt but some light esters. Flavors show a little spicy, decently to strongly bitter. A hint of lemon/lime soda (kaffir lime?), stone fruit, apricot. Mild esters and a hint of heat. Light carbonation, dry. Interesting.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a clear copper to light bronze hue with a small white head that leaves great lace. Aromas are dank, fruity, tropical and slightly over ripe fruit, citrus. Lightly grassy and herbal. Light esters with a small grainy malt note. Flavors are citrus, grapefruit and tropical fruit. Lightly grainy. Bitterness is medium to a bit light. Very quenching with lasting grassy (dryhop) and fruity notes. Mouthfeel is a touch thin/watery (my only real complaint on the beer). I know its a low gravity beer, but a bit more carbonation might help carry the body a bit more. Other than that, its an absolutely fantastic session beer.

On tap at GABF. Pours with a murky brown pour with a small white head. Big vinous aroma, dark fruit and red wine, currants, figs, caramelization, oak, light funk, dark cherries and alcohol. Flavors were also very vinous and wine driven. Great caramel notes and esters with lots of dark fruits. Lighter carbonation with good supporting tannin. Good beer, hope to get a bigger pour at the brewpub down the road.

Hazy amber. Woody, earthy aroma with light citrus. Nicely balanced - I actually didn’t know it was an imperial IPA. Mellow and earthy, with moderate bitterness. Reminds me of some of the IPAs from McMenamin’s, actually.

On tap at Ladyface. Pours with lightly hazed yellow body with a lasting, creamy white head. Aromas are grassy, grainy, dry, herbal, light phenols (tarragon, pepper, sage), esters (pear and a hint of banana). Flavors are herbal, light citrus, some light acidity/tartness, grassy, peppery. Nice esters (pear mostly). Medium alcohol feel (nothing like the +8.5% ABV). Medium to lively bubbles, crisp. Very nice yeast flavors. A tasty, bigger saison.

On cask. Pours with a clear golden body with a tight, just off-white head of bubbles. Aromas are very herbal, dank, pine, grassy, light citrus, earthy, forest trees, pine sap. Very light esters, iced tea. Very resiny. Flavors are aggressively bitter, herbal, pine, dank, sap. A bit harsh to be honest. Light caramel with a decidedly bitter balance. Light carbonation, somewhat dry and a touch warming. Smells awesome, but the bitterness comes off a bit harsh and aggressive (must be the fir tips, as the regular IPA isn’t exceptionally bitter). Interesting beer.

On cask at Ladyface. Pours with a clear amber-golden body with a frothy white head that stays pretty well. Aromas are very citrusy, orange, tang, coconut, shampoo. Light caramel malt flavors. Flavors show a bit of diacetyl. Very earthy, woody, with some orange peel. Bitter. Tastes kind of off. Light bubbles, warming.

On cask at Blue Palms. Pours with a slightly hazy golden hued body and a small off-white head that lasts. Aromas are similar to regular Chesebro: tropical fruit and citrus hops, with a decent malt back bone, light alcohol. The only difference is a slight smokiness and earthiness. Flavors are quite a bit different. Slightly fruity (hoppy up front), followed by a nice, peppery, earthy dryness. Decently spicy and it lingers. Warming by both heat and alcohol. Lingering burn and finishes dry. Interesting.
