On tap and Cask. Rating from tap (a bit hoppier on tap, a bit bready/maltier on cask). Pours with a clear amber body and a lasting off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, pine, citrus, rye. Taste is pine, citrus, grainy and rye. Dry and well balance. Good beer to drink that cannot be pushed in to any classic style (not hoppy enough to be a rye-arrogant bastard, and not malty enough to be anything specific). Dry residuals, medium carbonation.

On cask at the brewpub. Pours with a murky orange body and a somewhat large white head that stays. Aroma is quite fruity, strong tropical fruit notes, apricot and light oak. Taste is big, fruity, dry, oak tannin, and grainy. Big mouthfeel, with light bubbles. Solid, fruity and oaky.

On cask. Pours with a mostly clear golden body and a white head. Aroma is amazingly tropical, mango, passion fruit, stone fruit. Very bright. Taste is dry, grainy and bitter with a nice citrus, acidic and tropical fruit backbone. Cask like mouthfeel that makes the beer feel kind of flat.

On tap at Ladyface. Pours with a large white head that leaves good lace over a hazed gold to copper body. Aroma is dry, grainy, tannic, dry wine, light pepper. Taste is caramel, bread, light vinous and tannic wood. Lightly herbal. Great biere de garde. Lively bubbles, dry.

Growler via a trade with iowaherekye. Thanks Joey! Pours with a large off-white head that leaves good lace and has great retention over a hazy amber body. Aroma is a ton of tropical fruits, hoppy, caramel, grainy, fruity and maybe a hint of belgian yeast. Taste is earthy, hoppy, citrus, pine, tropical fruits every where. A really nice and drinkable DIPA that leans just a bit to the malty side of things. Creamy carbonation. Really good!

pours a thin rich tan head and cloudy orange/brown color. Aroma is sweet medium malt, back bone of pine hops with cascade (approximately a malty APA). Taste is malty, spicy/pine hops bitterness. Has a fermented tang. (about a winter ale). Enjoyable for 1 or 2 at a time, then that’s enough spice. Medium/full body. Good effervescence.
