1 liter PET from a supermarket in Chisinau. Clear golden yellow color, scant white head. Aroma of celery and white pepper. Taste is similar, plus a dusty finish.

Dull copper colour. No head. The aroma is full of butter. Reasonably full body, sweet, with plenty of buttered popcorn. Pretty rough.

Dark brown with an aroma emphasizig breadcrust and other dark malty stuff. Has an earthy dark malt character, with hints of chocolate. Slightly smoky in the finish, with some diacetyl coming through as it warms.

Bright gold colour The aroma is toasty, malty. The taste has a touch of spicy hop, but finishes fairly malty.

06/05 Sampled from a 1l plastic bottle opened the day before on another tasting, great thanks ogivlado to bring it here to us! It poured brown body with medium sized ivory head. Very sweet caramel malt aroma. Completely different flavor, still malty, but quite dry, coffee and caramel are dominating. It would be better if it was not so thin, which makes it boring, but for me it’s still better than their blonde.

06/05 Sampled from a 1l plastic bottle opened the day before on another tasting, thanks ogivlado to bring it here to us. So, it poured golden body with medium sized head. Weak corny aroma, but shows a little bit of hops as well. Weak flavor, malty and slightly stale corny. Very short and watery finish could be all it can give. It lost carbonation a bit, but I don’t believe we would benefit any more of it otherwise.

brown plastic bottle 1000ml. -Reddish/brown coloured, small off-white head, buttery vinous nose with notes of rubber. Yoghurty and buttery sweet caramel taste with very sugary finish. Also some notes of dog food in the finish. Expected better.

green plastic bottle 1000ml. -Dark golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, sourish nose. Sweetish malty, slight herbal and not so pleasant eggy taste with light acidic hoppy notes. Vinous salty finish. Not so good but still better than Bruna.

PET bottle again, courtesy of ogivlado who shared it with me and heavy. Poured a cola red body with a slightly off white head. Very sweet caramel nose. The sweet nose didn’t carry on that much to the taste, however, it was relatively dry, empty,with a distinct caramel note ending with some very light hoppy bitterness. An ordinary dunkel that I wish I could’ve tried fresh.

From a plastic bottle shared to me and heavy by ogivlado Uhh, guess things have changed since ’03. Admittedly, the sample wasn’t in perfect condition, but one could see what it was like fresh. In any case, it poured a golden body with a medium sized white head (surprise surprise). The stale, sweaty fruity malty nose was cleary due to the "age" of the sample, but it showed no really redeemable features underneath. The taste was relatively empty, papery, with some slightly acidic hop, very light and no real bitterness. Saltyish, dull lager. Yay.
