Draft @ the BP, 2015 vintage. Pours a reddish amber color with a thick and creamy finger of tan head. Big aromas of citrus and floral hops, caramel. Tastes rich and vibrant with aged floral and citrus hops, sweet and strong overall. Modest bitters. Lots of malty and citrus sweetness. Some toffee. Really nice beer. Reminds me a lot of some of the earlier vintages of Old Boardhead. Well done.

Draft @ the BP. Pours a golden orange color with a modest sandy head. Nice hoppy aroma; citrus and piney. Sweet malty and citrus fruits up front, lingering grapefruit and pithy bitters in the tail. Pretty well balanced.

Draft @ the BP. Hazy yellow pour with a smallish white head. Nose is faintly brine with a light citrus feel. Modest flavor, in fact it’s a little on the bland side. Briny with light floral and earthy notes. Faint bits of citrus fruit.

Draft @ the BP. Pours a golden amber color with a thin beige head. Potent aroma of hop octane… lots of floral and piney bitters. Tastes heavy in hops, piney, resin, florals. Just a little malty sweet, plenty of bitters.

Draft @ the BP. Seriously, I can’t believe they settled on the name for this… doesn’t set the bar very high. Fortunately this is one of the better brown ales I’ve had in a while. Dark brown in color with a decent tan head. Roasty and toasty aroma, caramel and dark chocolate. Nutty. Good flavors of roast and chocolate maltiness. Some toffee. Feels like the proper Americanized version of an English Brown. I like it.
