Dark brown. The aroma has a lot of nutmeg, cinnamon. On the palate, it's the same, nutmeg, cinnamon. The base is lighter than some of the older ones, I swear, and it's rather heavy on the spice.

500ml (thx, Sasha, for buying and, Joe, for keeping, Josh, for bringing!!! Hahaha 😂) @ SF shared with Phill and Josh.
Aroma: hazelnut bomb, some American oak and chcocolate.
Taste: along the same lines, kinda on the thinner side for a 14%. Finishes with some earthy bitterness coming from cocoa.
Overall: a disappointment. Literally. Expected it to be one of the best MS, but it's definitely not. It is a pleasant beer, but doesn't reach the standard set by HM over the years, unfortunately.

Dark brown. The aroma has a lot of hazelnut, I mean a lot of hazelnut. Some nice umami richness, especially the cocoa toast. On the palate, lots of rich sugars, alcohol and a fair bit of hazelnut, with a good cocoa character as well. As usual, this is excellent.

Capped 750 from the brewery. Pours fairly clear gold with a large pillowy white head. The aroma has a good amount of Brett with some citrus tagging along. It seems not very thick in a way but it’s definitely at least medium body. The flavor is well arguably funky, but that’s because it has a very very nice amount of Brett. This is a really delicious beer.

Draft at the first Avenue venue in Seattle. Pours moderate copper with a monstrous creamy whitehead that collapsed while lacing down. Aroma a very, very lightly roasting malt with something like floral hop. Medium body. Flavor is rather malty and it’s not entirely dry but pretty dry. not quite sure where to place it in the English ale pantheon.

Tap at the first Avenue venue in Seattle. Pours somewhat hazy gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is a slightly earthy, lychee, white grape and some more things. The body is rather plush and somewhat beyond moderate. For me it’s quite dry though a bit juicy. Definitely bitter but far from harshly so. Flavor is the aroma put some earthiness and maybe a touch of melon of some sort. It is definitely full of hop. Very good ale.

Tap at the Seattle venue. Pours, trans, and gold with a slight to moderate white head that laced a little bit. Aroma is a funky citrus. Medium body. It’s rather dry, somewhat funky and definitely not bretty. A rather interesting beer. Funky citrus seems to be the deal.

Highly carbonated, lightly hazy, white gold, with a massive, dense, well-retained, white head.
Stone fruit and tropical fruit rind, with a hint of band aid from the Brett is front and center, but the Sacch. makes itself known quickly, adding big pear and black pepper. Crusty, rustic grains add a pinch of honey and biscuity crustiness.
Lemony sugar cookies, though not quite that sweet, with fruity Brett and a bit of oiliness on the end. Tingly, tart acids balance crusty, chewy, rustic grains. The acid is a bit poignant/forceful; just a bit. I wish things were a little more rounded and soft like the nose. But, it's a whole hell of a lot of flavor and complexity for 3.5%, so I'm not complaining.

On tap at Holy Mountain - Phinney, pours s cloudy pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma has plenty of allium, light pine, a touch of dankness, and some doughy malt. Flavour is super fresh and vibrant, with tons of dank hops, light allium, and citrus. Finishes moderately dank, doughy, and clean. For a hazy with Citra, this is as good as it gets.
