Description
Holy Mountain is a brewery and taproom located in the Interbay neighborhood of Seattle, founded by co-owners Colin Lenfesty and Mike Murphy in 2014. The influence of oak has always been the focus of the majority of beers brewed at Holy Mountain. A sizable building near the Seattle waterfront has allowed the team to build a vast stock of oak barrels, puncheons, and foudres used for both primary fermentation as well as long-term aging.

The proximity of the brewery to the Yakima Valley also allows the team of brewers to utilize hops from the best producers in the world, constantly exploring the relationship between hops, oak, and mixed fermentation. Holy Mountain doesn't offer any year-round beers, which creates an ever-changing lineup in the brewery taproom. In addition to oak-influenced beers, Holy Mountain also offers a wide range of rotating, hop-forward ales and lagers.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a moderate white head. Aroma has an aroma exhibiting both malt and corn. Not getting hop. Mildly sweet. Mildly bitter. Hop is an earth/stone fruit mix I think.

Pale pinkish from the hibiscus. Medium head. The nose has a bright floral note…that’s the dandelion. Light body, fairly bitter, pushing the envelope for this type of beer. Light acidity. Good stuff.

Undated can, fresh from Tavour, drunk 8/14/25.
Clear, brilliant lemon-golden. Big, expansive, white head, strong retention.
Fun grains, fruity, herbal hops and beautiful, honey-like malt belying its size. Clean and aromatic.
Jesus, this thing is a monster in the body! Big and substantial with cracker, biscuit, honey, herbal hops and healthy bitterness, drying out nicely on the end. Crisp and satisfying. Lotta frickin flavor for the size.
