Hard to get a good sniff with all the other good smells going on in this place! 12 oz tap @ brewpub. Light malts throughout the senses....dark chocolate, cant decipher the fruit, its just dark & delicious. Good beer, I had 2 😊

Draft at GABF. Pours dark brown with off white head. Nose and taste of coffee, green pepper, light roasted black malt and cocoa. Medium body.

Shaker pint draft at the brewpub in Bear, Delaware. The pour is a cloudy hazy dark golden brown. The aroma is soft gentle wood, smoke and some grassy wheat. The taste is a nice blend between the wood smoke and the wheat. Nice fresh flavor, smoke is complementary, not overpowering. The palate is soft carbonation, almost towards being flat. Interesting use of smoke, nice and creative beer.

14 oz Pils glass draft at the brewpub in Bear, Delaware. The pour is a clear gold copper with a small white head. The aroma is the earthy spice of the hops along with fresh cracker malt. The taste is a nice blend between the earthy bright hops and the fresh vibrant cracker malt. The palate is light bodied, active carbonation and a very dry, clean and crisp. Really solid PIls, very much up my alley.

On tap at GABF 2012. Pours a pure black color with a medium off-white head. A big nose of roast and coffee. The flavor is a light roast, dry earthy malts, coffee, some saltiness. Good.

Catch up rating from notes, 2012: Draft at brewpub.Medium gold pour, slight cloudiness, big, full head. Yeasty, floral aroma, a hint of coriander. Taste come sin with some buttery, grainy notes, Belgian yeast, herbal, savory spice. Pretty much on target for the style.

A sweetish, lightweight summer brew. Was a little disappointed that there were no chuncks of the adjuncts as were sampled in other simialr brews (Fleur de Lehigh). Decent. but not top shelf

A decent approximation of a Belgian tripel. Served in a tulip glass, it lacked the towering head of a true tripel, and the flavor notes were much more subdued. On the right ttrack, but nowhere near the original
