Hazy amber beer, short lived white head. Dry palate. Low carbonation, what there is is very fine. Nose of green hops, grassy and bitter. Taste follows the nose with just a trace of citrus. Semi dry finish. Pretty bitter aftertaste. Okay but very green hop.

12 ounce bottle - I bought this because it was a buck fiddy - also, because I am apparently a dumbass that doesn’t learn from his mistakes - if I weren’t, I would have realized that I haven’t really cared for any Rockyard products I’ve had - if I weren’t, I would have saved myself from this charred, ashy, sour and overall soil/dirt tasting train wreck of a Scottish ale - but I am, so...

Bottled. A light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt as well as lighter notes of cardboard, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Bottle @ home from Boulder Liquor Mart. Red-orange appearance with a bubbly, cream colored, carbonated head that dissipates pretty quickly. Somewhat grapefruit citrusy, floral/earthy hoppy aroma that is pretty weak for a DIPA. Booze is immediately noticeable upon tasting. Fairly rich grapefruit citrusy, mild piney, floral hoppy, sweet, somewhat toasty malty flavor. Boozy finish- not very smooth. A little hard to drink.
