12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine & Liquor in Colorado Springs, CO. Pours a clear dark copper color with no head or lacing. No carbonation at all. I think this can has been compromised. No aroma. Without CO2 it tasted like a dark lager mixed with old caramel. I can't really judge this fairly. The 7.0% ABV is well hidden.

On tap at Trail's End. Pours a clear, dark, brown color, with a medium, creamy, beige head. The nose is butterscotch, pine, apricot, and rye. Sweet and malty, with a mild bitterness. Medium to heavy body, with a creamy and sharp palate. This is a mellow and quality barley wine.

Shared with Erzengel! A orange brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of strong caramelized reddish malt, spruce and nuts. Taste of sweet nutty malt, caramel, spruce, sweet strong malty finish.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for sharing! Fruity smooth nose with dry grainy malt. The beer starts very fruity, grainy with hints or brown sugar. Easy to drink, not much bitterness, not too deep. Fruity grainy in the end. Sessionable and a bit neutral.

Huge thanks to my wife for bringing this one home from her trip to the US. Can looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass light brown, small head. Nice roasty-sweetish-malty aroma. Starts fine malty, roasty, sweetish, some hints of caramel. Some notes of nuts. Finish well balanced, roasted malty, still nice caramel notes. Nice one!

Canned August 31st 2018. Or is it a best before date? I see a lot of small floaties.
It pours a medium gold with lots of floaties, good head of foam that dissipates slowly leaving some lacing behind.
Grapefruit and melon nose, quite dank overall.
Dankness in the taste as well. Grapefruit and melon, mango, but not without its sweet side. Caramel is present though not prevalent.
Nice mouthfeel though I reckon that it could use a tad more carbonation.
It's nice to see dating on a packaged beer but please..put whether it's best by or packaged on!!
