Golden colour. Head sinks quickly. Alcohol aroma. Sticky sweet mouthfeel. The alcohol-flavour is hidden behind a wall of bitterness. To my surprise this beer was almost drinkable!

Take a thin vienna. Add loads of alcohol. Then you'll have this. Pale brown, not much head. Alcohol aroma, sweet, metallic flavour.

Yellow colour. Quick-sinking head. Too much carbonation, too little body. Reminds me of a cheap Danish lager. I used to drink a lot if of this when I was younger. What was I thinking??

Dark amber. Head doesn't last long. Neutral, somewhat sweet aroma. The flavour starts off slightly roasty but pretty soon gets alcohol bitter and metallic. This beer is too strong for its own good.

[1996, 14-07-2002] Dark, poor head and carbonation. Very strong aroma: malt, huge porto wine, liquorice. Good taste, mix of roasted malt, light coffee and chocolate, liquorice, porto wine (this is quite rare!); the body isn't really strong. Good palate, a bit sweet.
