330ml bottle at Blue Nile Ethiopian restaurant, Birmingham. Light gold and clear with very little head. Corny resinous aroma. Taste is sweet with corn syrup and heavy malt. Slightly stringent finish. Not a great lager.

--Bottled at Bole Airport, Addis Ababa. -- Clear golden, small head. Fruity maize aroma. Mid sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with some maize. Low bitterness.

12/12/2020. Bottle sample courtesy of saxo/fonefan. Pours clear golden with a bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma of grain, sugar syrup, corn, grass, sweet malt. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily/sticky texture, average carbonation. Caramel finish. Not the worst of the night.

ABV: 5.5%. Clear light to medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, nutty - earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt - corn, nutty - earthy, off-flavor - cardboard. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20201205]
