Now their idea has been given a home, so to speak – and the beer nomads have settled down a bit, because since 2018 the Nómada beers are being brewed in the pilot brewhouse of Mahou San Miguel's Alovera facility. This alliance with Mahou San Miguel (with a stake of 40% in Nómada) is intended to help the brand focus more closely on the Spanish beer market.

33cl bottle at Schouskjelleren. Pours almost clear deep golden to orange with a white head leaving nice lacings. Hoppy aroma with pine, peaches, caramel, malt and hints of citrus and herbs. Medium sweet with a lightly dry and pleasantly bitter finish. Medium+ body with fairly average carbonation. Bitter aftertaste with notes of grapefruit. Decent and refreshing.

33 cl. bottle poured in to snifter. Abv. is 9,5 %. Pitch black with a huge, dense tan head, leaving a nice lacework behind. Sweet, roasted aroma with rich malts, salty licorice, chocolate, coffee and coconut. An yeasty, almost sour note - not unpleasant. Taste is sweet. Full body, oily texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes bitter with herbal hops, chocolate, dark dried fruits, roasted malts and a hint of vinous alcohol. Excellent strong porter.

33 cl bottle @ home as "Royal Porter A La Taza"Aroma has ash, tobacco, some licorice, vanilla and hay. Flavour has somewhat salty licorice, some coffee, soy sauce and hints of ash. Palate is slightly too high on CO2. Too salty, otherwise ok.33 cl bottle @ Bier-Bier, BBE 06/2016Aroma has chocolate and salty licorice. Flavour has cocoa, semi-dark chocolate, salty licorice and some coffee in the finish. Not that salty anymore. 8+4+8+4+15=3.9 still.

330ml bottle Pours dark brown, almost black with a light brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, ash, licorice, chocolate and leather. Taste is sweet, roasty and syrupy with notes of licorice, ash and chocolate. Finish is carbonated, syrupy and roasty with notes of ash and chocolate. A bit unbalanced and too carbonated .7-4-8-3-14 =3.6
Re-rated on 20.3.2015. 330ml bottle @ Bier-Bier, Helsinki. Feels more balanced and the ashy tones aren’t as disturbing as previously.

Bottle at Bruce’s. It pours murky deep brown with floaters and a scummy beige head. The nose is roasted malt, mouldy wood, earth, dark fruit, faint spice and strong yeast character. The taste is earth, roasted malt, decent bitterness, mouldy wood, blue cheese, vinous, alcohol, tangy fruit, blueberry and mild sourness with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Odd, unbalanced.... Not sold on this one.
