Description
Founders Javier Aldea and Sami Claret have quite an out-of-the-ordinary corporate philosophy: they’ve been brewing beer without a brewery of their own – rather, they’ve been travelling the world as beer nomads and produced their creations together with craft-beer buddies elsewhere.

Now their idea has been given a home, so to speak – and the beer nomads have settled down a bit, because since 2018 the Nómada beers are being brewed in the pilot brewhouse of Mahou San Miguel's Alovera facility. This alliance with Mahou San Miguel (with a stake of 40% in Nómada) is intended to help the brand focus more closely on the Spanish beer market.

Bottle shared a level 42. It pours hazy bright yellow / gold with a medium white head. The aroma is salty, oily, earthy, savoury, white bread and umami. The taste is crisp, dull bitterness, earthy, white bread, cracker, umami, salty and herbal with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Interesting, but not especially tasty.

Black color, beige head, medium lasting. Aroma has notes of roasted malts with a high presence of chocolate notes. Flavor is slightly sweet, roasty, alcohol very good masked by cocoa notes. The final has some smoked hints, some wood and slightly sweetness. Creamy and smooth on palate.

Bottle traded from Werckmeister, many thanks! Pours black with quickly disappearing tan head. Aroma of chocolate, dark cherry, prunes and some coffee. Sweet and boozy flavor with cocoa, chocolate and dark, dried fruits. Full bodied. Truly a sipper.

Last beer of the night on 24th March 2016: Shrewsbury Beer Club (in Chez Sophie). Intense coffee flavoured Stout, the alcohol level gave it an extra dimension and I thought it an exceptional beer and an ideal nightcap. I would happily have this at home as a regular end of the night beer.

Bottle, 330 ml from Pivoljub. Shared with JFK10000. Pours black, medium light brownish head. Roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, licorice. Sweetish, but not overly. Oily and full bodied. Alcohol not too aggressive. Nice one.

Bottle 330 ml. Black, almost no foam. Aroma: powerful, red port wine, cold coffee and dark chocolate, iodine, smoke and dried fruits. Taste: the best coffee with an excellent whiskey, really cool thing. Great!

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a massive off-white head. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of white pepper, boiled green vegetables and dried grass. Flavour of marzipan, blood orange and white sugar. Thin to medium body with a spritzy mouthfeel. Very fizzy. Quite raw and rough, but I quite liked it.
