Golden. Vaguely herbal and smells bland. Hints of dryness and maybe a little hop extract. Some minerals, but this is a quick, simply supermarket beer.

(bottle) Cloudy, bright orange to amber colour with a big but collapsing slightly off-white foamy head. Mildly sweet wheat-malty aroma with a delicately fruity touch and notes of cloves and vanilla. Slightly sweet flavour with a touch of bitterness, light to medium bodied with an almost creamy carbonation. Present wheat-character with a whiff of cara-malt, restrained fruity notes and clovy spice; slightly sweet wheaty and shy fruity finish with notes of cloves. A fine and rather discreet Hefeweizen that lacks fruit-character. 26.X.10
