33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning. Pours a copper color with not too much white head. Malt & caramel aroma’s with some grassy hops. Flavor is nicely balanced between sweet and bitter. Could use a bit more carbonation. Lingering bitter(ish) finish. Good solid German maibock

New name, old sorrow - Herforder Cola! In the beginning, slightly sweet for Coke, then bitter and just watery - not even cola taste, this is just bad, bad, disgusting

Hazy bright orange color, tiny white head. Strong sweetish and acidic artifical lemon soda pop aroma, hints of cardboard. Light body. Artifical orange juice concentrate flavor, hints of more sour grapefruit. Not much beer but a soda pop.

Bottled (thanks fonefan!). Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is orange, mild grapefruit, some acidic notes as well. Flavour is cardboard, orange juice concentrate, some sugary notes. Flavour has no grapefruit at all.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, orange colour with a big and slightly off-white frothy head. Moderately sweet intensively nose of grapefruits, leaving only little room for a shy wheaty note and a mineralic/soda touch. Sweet and sour-tart flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Grapefruit is dominating the one-dimensional taste, shy malt-/wheat-character; sourish fruity and slightly bitter-tart finish. Perhaps refreshing but does not really taste like a beer. 25.X.10

Bottle. Thx to fonefan. It’s a hazy, yellowish orange drink with a minimal-sized white head. Lots of Schweppes on the nose, grapefruit and some orange. A faint whiff of beer too. It’s grapefruity in the flavor, a faint whiff of beer too, and with some grapefruity bitterness. Short, fruity finish. Medium to thin body, carbonated like a soda pop. It’s tasting quite good, but it lacks all qualities a beer should have. 101009
