Bottle shared in Hackney - cheers to Scopey. Pours unclear red with a small, creamy white head. Tasty stuff, vibrant strawberry, a little salty bite, soft acidity. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Juicy strawberry finish, mild tartness. Solid.

Bottle shared at BD Castlegate. It pours oily jet black with minimal head. The aroma is sweet, oily, sticky, toasted brown sugars, rocky road, coffee cake, chocolate gateaux, whisky, sticky and fudge. The taste is slick, oily, filthy, vanilla cake frosting, gateaux, coffee cake, treacle, boozy warmth, whisky warmth, tar, boozy heat, chewy action and roasted malt with a slick, whisky finish. Fulsome body and low carbonation. Perhaps could be done with a bit more carbonation, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Keg at OverWorks. It pours cloudy creamy red with a thick, fluffy pink - white head. The aroma is ripe strawberries, juicy, shortbread, Victoria sponge cake, touch of cream and vanilla custard. The taste is crisp, dry, bright, juicy, puckering, so much damn strawberry, tart, strawberry smoothie, tangy, zingy, kick of acidity to keep it in check, mellow vanilla, bit of gooey marshmallow and raspberry pip with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, roamy carbonation. Delicious stuff. Insanely drinkable. Wow.

Bottle. Beer Zoo, I think. Looks like tinned strawberry juice. Thin, dense, lacing, lasting, leggy, just off white head. Nose has strawberry mousse. Tinned strawberry. Ripe peach and mango. Strawberry milkshake and yoghurt. Taste is tart, sweet, and a little bitter. Nicely juicy and fresh. Medium body. Slick, fruity and mouth watering on the palate. Fine carbonation. Hugely refreshing, tart, and fruity on the finish. Impressive that an 8.5% beer just drinks like pop. Awesome.
