Description

After years of talking about it as a family, the decision is taken in 2015/16 to make brewing the new family business. The family travel to various brewery manufactures and finally place an order for the system that is now in place in Kilcoole.Equipment starts arriving and the brewery is built and commissioned. Late 2017, test beers are put out at the Irish craft beer festival at the RDS. In 2018 Larkin’s formally launches into the market at the Alltech beer festival in March. Larkin’s is now distributed in pubs across Ireland as well as exporting to other markets in the EU.

440ml can at home. Pours a very slightly hazy with a thin off white head. Grapefruit, pine, bit of cheddar cheese in the aroma. Flavour is grapefruit, bit of pine, old school west coast IPA flavour. Soft carbonation.

Drukket på Bergstua. Mørk amber. Lavt mokkafarget skum som daler raskt og blir film. Tung karamellaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken sammensatt. Mørke plommer & nøtter. Vinhøst helhetsinntrykk. Vel søt.

440ml can at home. Pours an amber gold, extra large white head. Aroma is slightly muted but mango is very apparent, along with citrus notes and some grapefruit in the background. Flavour is also a little muted, mango, lemon, grapefruit, biscuit malts.

440ml can at home. Pours a golden amber with a small off white head. Beautiful Citra bouquet of tropical citrus notes. Malt bill is soft biscuit. Nice bitter finish.
