Description
After years of talking about it as a family, the decision is taken in 2015/16 to make brewing the new family business. The family travel to various brewery manufactures and finally place an order for the system that is now in place in Kilcoole.Equipment starts arriving and the brewery is built and commissioned. Late 2017, test beers are put out at the Irish craft beer festival at the RDS. In 2018 Larkin’s formally launches into the market at the Alltech beer festival in March. Larkin’s is now distributed in pubs across Ireland as well as exporting to other markets in the EU.

Tap at The Woodworkers in Belfast. Pours a hazy honeycomb-orange with off white head that lingers as a dusting across the top. Patterns well down the glass. Overt tropics spill out of the glass. Flavor is sweet fruit with a lactose creaminess to it. Soft white wheat malt. Really nice.
