Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is fairly spicy with coriander, yeast, pale malt, some orange peel, floral notes with honey, meadow. Flavour is medium sweet and light to moderate bitter. Body is medium. Yeasty, spicy, floral with honey sweetness. This is okay.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is caramel, sweet brown malt, dried fruits, brown sugar, notes of raisins, mildly spicy. Sweet flavour, lightly bitter, finishes a bit sharper than I like for the style. Above medium body. Decent if rudamentary Quad.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Bierloods 22. Dutch brewery #424. Hazy very dark amber to brown with a thin off-white head. Dark caramel aroma with dried fruits. Sweet taste with a spicy, faintly cabbage-like, finish. Some higher alcohols as well. Not really bad but not very well brewed.
33cl bottle. (Batch 2) A dark brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of dried fruits, caramel, strong reddish brown malt. Taste of strong dark caramelized malt, dried fruits, raisins.

330ml bottle. Clear, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and small, frothy, fading, beige head. Rather weak, minimally toasty, dark malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, a touch of dark caramel, whiffs of liquorice, nutty overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, toasty, dark malty, minimally chocolately and caramel malty, minimally nutty, hints of malt lozenge, a touch of milk chocolate, nougat, dark caramel, minimally bitter, grassy hoppy counterpart. Watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium, minimally prickly carbonation. Nice, harmonious composition, quite a manifoldness of malty flavours, sadly a bit weak in the nose - nice.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierloods22', best before July 2020. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, dense, stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, gently fruity-floral and slightly spicy aroma of banana, clove, light orange peel, a touch of wheat and maybe traces of elderflower. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, grainy, slightly yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity-floral taste of banana, clove, wheat, nettles and light orange peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry, moderately yeasty-spicy finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and quite effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Solid Wit, nothing to write home about.
