(Draught at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague, 19 July, labeled "Dalesicky Fledermaus Tmavy Special 13". 5,3%. I think it’s the right one, correct me if not) Dark brown colour with creamy, pale brown head. Malty, creamy nose with notes of chocolate and coffee. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate and creamy coffee. Tasty, well balanced beer with creamy, rounded mouthfeel. Very nice.

Draught at Zelena Kocka, Brno. Hazy, orangey coloured, solid hoppy nose with a toasted background, lacy beige head, moderate to robust bitter and sweet flavour, medium bodied, shorter bitter aromatic finish, balanced by sweet toasted malt. A very fine brew........

Draft at Vinarna Hrozen at RBESG 2008. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of diacethyl. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and caramel.

From tap at Hrozen. Pours slight cloudy and orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is mild spiced and light butterish. Flavour is mild fruity and slight buttery. Ends dry and light bitter with a mild spice note.

Draught at Vinarna Hrozen, Plzen Amber, thin beige head. Could be diacetyl, or could be a toffee/coffee beer. Definitely has a butterscotch aroma. Rest of beer is ok, with a slight sour hoppiness. I normally don’t like diacetyl, but it’s not too obvious on this with a peppery hop finish.

Light amber beer with a lasting white head. Caramel and butterscotch in the aroma. Sweet malty flavour with some butter notes, and lacking some hops.

Draught. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel, some diacetyl, vegetables and quite butterscotch/toffeeish notes. Flavour is caramel, toffee, mild earth and some sour wooden notes.

The ninth beer of the Vinarna Hrozen tasting at the RBESG 2008. Amber coloured, small to medium beige head, fruity herbal nose. Malty and hoppy flowery taste with light notes of butterscotch and toffee and rather bitter finish.

Draught at Vinarna Hrozen, Pilsen. Hazy amber, mid sized head. Interesting burnt fruity nose. Medium sweet and medium bodied with mouthfilling heavy malt. Intensely flavourful with notes of butter and crystalized sugar. Medium bitternes. Well made, semi-darkish, semi-strongish lager.
