440ml can at Gavel, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, coconut and lime citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a smooth, fresh, grainy, creamy, juicy tart lime citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. It’s really all about the coconut and lime. Talus strikes again.

440ml can at Ben’s Cafe. Poured a mostly clear golden orange colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is big yuzu. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, herbal, metallic, juicy yuzu, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. The yuzu totally dominates but that’s no bad thing.

440ml can from Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, yeasty, light vinous, mango. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a fresh, smooth, herbal, light, mango, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Went through several phases after it was opened and the air got to it. The aroma and flavours totally changed. There was more fruit initially, but ultimately it became more bitter with hardly any fruit at all and quite uninspiring.

440ml can from Taps Beer Bar Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, fresh, mineral, herbal, juicy yuzu, light salty, dry, yeasty, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I’m no big fan of yuzu!

Backlog from 2020. Can. An unclear amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, spices, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, spices, malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Can, bb 2/25. Almost opaque light brown with a white head that's soon a scant coat. Aroma of ripe and under-ripe tropical fruit, sour grapes. Sludgy. Sweet with lots of fruit and some sharpish herbs. There's enough bitterness at the end to clean up. One of those hazies I don't really get.

Can. Very clear golden amber with a cm of white head. Insistent green berry and fresh pine wood aroma with stinky tropical fruit, light bread - a pastiche of Kiwi hop aromas. Light bodied. Sweet, very clean with light bready malt under at first fruity then resinous notes. The finish is not that bitter. Good, just not q where I want to go.

Can. Just misted gold with a thin white head. Aroma of mandarins, some grapefruit, peach lollies, some pine, crackers. 7- Rather vapid crackery sweetness, rather lolly-like fruity hops - but a nice blend with moderate bitterness. In date but perhaps not at its best.

Paleish...that colour is like a purplish salmon colour. The aroma has a good grape note to it, hinting at a wild yeast note and some malt base. Seems interesting. On the palate, this is quite wine-like, with a really good malt base. Nice carbonation that gives that beer mouthfeel with a soft, tasty wine. It's all coming together quite nicely here.

750mL bottle. Pours murky red-orange with minimal head. Aroma has musty grape, barnyard funk. Flavour has lots of funk, wine character, woody. Some tannic character, but pretty minimal. Mouthfeel has really high carbonation, complements the flavour profile well.
