(swing top bottle, 33cl) Almost clear, pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Delicately buttery malty and strawy aroma with mildly grainy spots and flowery hops in the background. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Slightly stawy and subtle grainy malt-character with floral and delicately herbal hops; moderately sweet and restrained bitter finish. Easy-going Lager. 24.VI.15

Hell herber Beginn, geringe Süße. Etwas getreidig, helles Malz, leicht steigende Würzigkeit. Dabei ab dem Mittelteil hopfig, harmonisch, sehr süffig. Zum Ende getreidiger. Gut. 10/11/10/10/9/10

Bottle (of unusual shape) bought at Le Pré Vert in Bastogne, three days past its best before date. A commissioned cyclists’ beer by a German brewery. Thin but moussy, lightly lacing, snow white head, straw blonde with light and diffuse yeast ’fog’ disturbed by vivid fizz, more ochre-hued with yeast sediment added. Aroma of sourdough, damp cloth, sweaty grains, sourish dried apple peel, old bread, starch, cut grass, wet cardboard. Soft grainy sweetish flavor, otherwise fairly neutral, medium carbonated, a little bit metallic, light bready and grainy middle with increasing starch-like, earthy yeastiness towards the finish paired with soft herbal and grassy hop bitterishness, but the sweet graininess prevails in the end. Average German Lager - not hoppy enough to qualify as a Pilsener, more in the range of Münchener Helles.

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle! Smooth and fresh beginning. Easy to drink, round and smooth. Hints of grain, a bit sweetish-grainy. The bitterness is a bit sharp and neutral. The aftertaste is sweetish with grainy hints. Somehow unround. Sad.

Many thanks for this small swing-top bottle to kevnic2008. Piwo jest koloru bursztynowego i lekko zamglone choc drozdzy na dnie nie bylo, srednia pianka i srednio trwala pecherzykowata. Zapach slodowo drozdzowy.

Bottle from Beers’n’more. Pretty decent for a lager, quite hoppy in aroma and taste. Some fruity sweetness too. I like.
