Leicht erhöht karbonisierter, hefig herber Antrunk. Geringe Bitterkeit, die aber immernoch über der Intensität der Hefe liegt. Laff bananiger Mittelteil, kaum vorhandener Nachhall. 8/7/8/7/7/7

Das Hausbier der 9er-Bräus. Wird das Lokal 2015 von Bierpabst Conrad Seidl in seinem Bier-Guide empfohlen, so ist es ein Jahr später, nach Abzug der benachbarten Wirtschafts-Uni schon nur mehr ein schwer vermittelbarer Leerstand (Stand Anfang 2018). Das Bier wurde dort nie selbst gebraut, sondern kam von der Brau-Union oder vermutlich Gösser. Es war ein Beisl-typisch frisches süffiges Bier ohne viele spezielle Aromen.

Draught at Frankie’s Pizza, Sydney, on October 9, 2015.Golden color, white head. Hoppy, citrus, light bitter, herbal, leafy taste. Citrus, leafy aftertaste, some pith - albeit non bitter, hard to describe? Medium to fizzy mouthfel, medium low bitterness. Citrus hoppy, orange zest, fruity, fresh scent.

Amber color with tan head that goes down quickly. Aroma is malty and a bit nutty. Like pure malts, like a brewery smells. Taste is more malts and a bit nutty, a bit watery. Finish is a bit sweet. Overall quite sweet. Simplistic, but okay if you like the flavours. I prefer the Dunkels drier.

Muddy orange color with big-bubbled white head that goes down quickly. Huh?/Doesn?t really look like a Weizen. Aroma is bananas, okay, spices as well, but smells quite crisp and citrusy as well, but also grains in the back. Not the most balanced aroma. Taste is some bananas and some spices, but also some bready dough and a phenolic booziness towards the end. Maybe its a bit earthy or maybe rubber. Mouthfeel only has hints of the silkiness of a typical Weizen mouthfeel you?d expect. Carbonation is quite crisp. Overall, disappointing. I love Weizen but this one doesn’t cut it at all.

Den første på rbhd-samling på Fridtjofen aug-15: lett uklar lys gylden med kort skum. Besk metallisk smak, tynn og med en ubehagelig syre. Heldigvis kort ettersmak. Selv ikke det strålende sommerværet kunne hjelpe.
