Bottle. Rich malt nose, citrus and stone fruits, some resins. Cloudy orange color. Quite malty flavor, nicely hopped, peppery, with citrus and peach. Spritzy carbonation. Good.

33cl bottle. A murky orange golden beer with a huge most good lasting off-white head. aroma of spices, citrus, herbs, banana, yeast. Taste of herbal spices, citrus, flowers, dry bitter hops, some banana.

0.33l bottle from hieber's in lörrach. pours an opaque dark brown with a big beige head and lots of sediment. aroma of caramel, roast, oak, milk chocolate. flavour of chocolate, dark fruits, especially prunes, wood, oatmeal cookies. fizzy carbonation. roasty medium bitter finish. fruits and umami. ok.

0.33l bottle from hieber's in lörrach. pours a murky orange/pale amber with a big head. aroma of sprucy hops, herbs, mint, some citrus and gooseberry. very pale ale-like. flavour of sprucy hops, herbs, citrus zest, some smoke, a hint of green banana/weizen. not too much funk. fizzy carbonation. nice, not but during a blind tasting I would say it is closer to apa.

Bottle in Freiburg, Plaza Culinaria 2017. Pours a murky blonde with a white head. Aroma is funky with bretts and fruity notes.

330ml bottle [courtesy of (ha ha) Frank - thanks a lot!]. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Minimally sugary, roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of cocoa, lactose. Taste is sweet-ish dark malty, slightly roasty, hints of caramel, cocoa, some red berry fruitiness; slightly overcarbonated.

Bottle, courtesy of Koelschtrinker. A rather simple stout with pleasant coffee and chocolate aromas, yet rather low on everything. Some caramel, decently sweet, with a soft carbonation. Some weird green pepper and raw bean flavours, quite bitter. Burnt palate.Okay.

Bottle, courtesy of Koelschtrinker. Pours slightly cloudy amber with a low head. Aroma is light citrus, grapefruit, caramalts, low cat food. Body is rather light, watery, with a lively carbonation and low amounts of flavour (lemon, grapefruit), bitterness and sweetness. Almost no backbone to be found. Dry palate, still softly citric. Okay, but too weak.

bottle from Heinrichs 3000 Kornwestheim. Golden with a mid-sized white head. Malty start, citrusy and slightly grassy hops tuning in soon.
