This was labeled as Hopportunistic #2, but it is also a Citra APA, so Im guessing its the same beer just a different batch. It pours a lightly hazed orange color with an off white head. The aroma is nice and potent with big mango grapefruit and some floral hops. Strong. The flavor is the same. Very hoppy grapefruit notes and florals. A little hop spice and bitterness in the finish. Hints of tropical fruit and some honeyed malt, but not a lot. Pretty solid hop forward APA. A little more attenuation and it would approach Cellarmaker quality in terms of hop explosiveness. Well done.

On draft at the brewery. It pours a light golden orange color with an off white head. The aroma is lightly malty with a little berry fruit. The flavor is bready and a little toasted with some sweet maltiness. Good earthy bitterness in the finish. A bit too caramel heavy and sweet, but certainly not bad.

On tap at Black Hammer. It pours a pale yellow gold color with a white head. The aroma is light wheat with lemon and orange. The flavor is the same. Lots of tart, orangy lactic acid. Very simple flavor profile with hints of wheat malt in the finish. Pleasant tartness, but pretty generic. No major off flavors. An ok quencher.
