At the F-Fest. Hazy blackish body with a thick white head. Funky dry malty nose, some meat. Light taste, veeeeery light roastiness, very light acidity, some soft maltiness, maybe coffee. Slightly acidic finish too. Overall not bad, but not good.

Draught at the F-Fest. Dark golden-amber body with a small white head. Very subtle malty nose. Metallic sweet honeyish nose. Malty, sweet yeasty taste with notes of caramel, grainy, but no real vinuous notes... odd - will rerate one day. Ok beer overall.

Olajos a teste. Urtyp.

Eh. On tap at Főzdefeszt. Ok, disclaimer: they gave me this as an IPA, if they gave me the vilagos despite me saying IPA, fuck it, I’m rating it here. Spicy rosemary taste, omnipresent in their beers at the fest apparently. Asty too in the nose. Spicy, ashy, malty rosemary taste. No real bitterness. Meh. 6/3/6/3/11 Rerate (thanks ogi!): Poured a murky peachy body with a white head. Light, smooth spicy taste, hops, very light beet. Better than most of their beers. Tastes peachy too behind the spiciness. Better than it used to be.

We’re not sure of the style. It did taste spicy, but then again ALL their beers tasted the same that day. Anyway, the first beer of the second F-fest day, courtesy of mattphilips, thanks! Poured a full golden-orange body, lovely. Slightly off white head, medium sized. Nice Czech grainy malty rice crispies nose, some glue. The taste stays the same, only some herbal flavor comes in, rosemary? At first I considered it fresh, then I wrote very slightly stale. Strange but I didn’t mind it. And again, we’re not sure what it’s supposed to be.

Draught at Kortyolda, Miskolc. Very dark brown, creamy head. Aroma of coffee and cramel. Medium dry with rounded mouthfeel. Highof coffee and caramel, low on hops. Feels heavily inspired by Czech dark beers, and well executed too.

Draught at Kortyolda, Miskolc. Clear golden, small head. Worty raisiny aroma. Medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel. the raisiny wort flavour stays on throughout, and it finishes with low bitterness. Feel underattenuated.

Draught at Kortyolda, Miskolc. Clear reddish amber, creamyhead. Lightly vinous nose with lots of caramel. Soft and gentle with medium-full body. Gentle caramel and fruit. The Tokaji aszu spreads it’s mild noble vinous sweetness. Finishes warming with low bitterness. Quite brilliant beer, and very exciting for being a Hungarian microbrew.
