Description

Since 1993, FrogPubs has been serving its own handcrafted beers, all freshly brewed and straight from the vats. We are now far from the small microbrewery - still in use - in the cellar of Frog & Roast beef. Today, in addition to brewing every day in six of our thirteen pubs, FrogBeer has its own production brewery located north of Paris in the city of Pierrefitte-sur-Seine. This is where beer is brewed for FrogPubs, FrogBurgers, specialty stores and bars across France.

In our seven breweries, our 37 brewers create 12,000 hectoliters of beer per year with nearly forty different recipes, for the pleasure of your taste buds! The Brewery for bottled beers is in Pierrefitte-sur-Seine.

Good foam on yellow. Very soft hop aroma and little else. Flavour is sharp hops with a bit of a malty back end. Medium on the mouth, could use more oiliness. Okay rendition of an IPA. On tap in Paris .

Cloudy lemon colour, white head. Smell of citrus, yeast. Aroma of yeast, citrus, coriander. Basic wit, decent. Medium carbon, light body. Balanced.

Smell of roasted malt, vanilla. Black colour, creamy head. Aroma of cocoa, coffee, hops, grass, some vanilla. Candy in finish. Sweet and bitter. Flat carbon. Velvety.

Amber colour, white head. No smell. Aroma of citrus, grass, hops. Slightly acidic. Mildly sweet, very mildly sour. Soft, lively carbon.

Smell of mango. Amber colour, white head. Aroma of hops, mango, grass, some malt in finish. Mildly bitter. Light body, lively carbon. Fresh, but could be stronger in flavour.

Keg @ Frog XIV, Paris. Pours a hazy golden amber, frothy white head. Aroma has medium-sweet raspberry puree. Taste is soft, lightly fuzzy with a raspberry presence that's not too imposing, allowing the saison yeast a little time in the spotlight. Refreshing table saison.
