Bottle sampled at Carnivale. Clear golden. Indeed a lot of lemon, sweet malts, soft funk, subtle smoke soft vinegar. Medium sweet, a bit more sour. Over medium bodied.

Dorada, ligeramente nebulosa y con preciosa espuma blanca abundante y muy duradera. Aroma escaso, levadura y notas ligeramente acida. En boca es bastante seca, de tono ácido, amargor moderado, especiada, algo citrico pero sobre todo ácida. Poco agradable.

Its screams belgian tripel to me. All the typical notes of banana coriander. You can tell its a triple, its a nice one though.

Aroma of fruits, yeast, orange, malt, coriander, spicy notes. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bitter finish. Nice medium body. Overall pretty decent, although I prefer my Tripels a bit less sweet.

From tap at 4e Noordelijk Lentebieren festival Leeuwarden. Aroma is quite oaky, sweet ripe fruits, orange, a bit spicy, light malty. Didn’t get much Brett, unfortunately. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet. Actually a bit less sweet than the regular Grutte Pier Tripel, which is a good thing. Overall this beer is not bad, but not great either. Some Brett would definitely have helped.

From tap at 5e Noordelijk Lentebierenfestival, Leeuwarden. Aroma is huge cough syrup, herbs and spices, lots of Beerenburg, ’kruidenbitter’, dark malt, liquorice. Very sweet flavour, fairly cloying. Body is above medium with a sticky mouthfeel. The Stout is quite overpowered by the Beerenburg. I should hate this but it’s actually pretty good, sweet and sticky but it delivers if you like the huge Boomsma influence.

From tap at 5e Noordelijk Lentebierenfestival, Leeuwarden. Aroma is fruity citrus, light malt, notes of yeast, mild spicy and grassy notes with a slight hoppy touch. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Body is light to medium. Not a bad ’hoppy blond’.

Bottle from Drankenspeciaalzaak Jelle, Leeuwarden. Aroma is brown malts, caramel toffee, yeast, nuts, brown sugar, notes of ripe/dried fruit and a hint of banana. Flavour is above medium sweet and mildly bitter. Body is medium. Quite good for a Dubbel, smooth and delicate.

Bottle from Drankenspeciaalzaak Jelle, Leeuwarden. Aroma is spicy with anise, herbal tea, smoked caramel malt, wood, mint, "sterrenmix". Flavour is fairly cloying sweetness. Body is medium with a sticky texture. Not to my liking, way too heavy on the spices.
