Ein Rauchbier aus Tschechien...das sieht man auch nicht alle Tage. Und offenbar ist es so sunbekannt, dass man einfach den deutschsprachigen Namen hernimmt. Ich bin kein Fan von Rauchbieren, da sie mir meistens zu sehr nach Geselchten schmecken, was ich als Vegetarier nicht mag. Dieses ist aber relativ zahm, so hat es einen rauchigen Kern, aber lässt andere nette Aromen zu. So hat es karamellige Töne und einen süßlichen Abgang.

Die kleine Brauerei Victor aus Prag braut ein gut süffiges Helles, wie man es kennt und gerne trinkt. Es läuft gut die Kehle runter und man freut sich über jeden neue volle Glas. Ein perfekter Begeiter für einen langen Abend. Nichts ausgefallenes, aber ein solides, angenehmes helles Bier.

Tap at brewery. Hazy brown color with thick off-white head. Smoked malt in aroma with bacon and saussages. Taste, malt, some sourness, light smokinnes of bacon. Light smoky finish.

Tap at brewery. Black color with thick beige head. Light aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Taste, roasted malt, coffee, hints of dark chocolate. Coffee bitter finish.

Tap at brewery. Golden color with medium white head. Malty aroma with bitter hops. Malty taste with hoppy touvh and earthy notes.

On tap at Hotel Victor. Cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of bready malt, with a hint of toffee, some herbal and grassy notes and a touch of diacetyl. Sweet malty flavour with toffee and biscuit, herbal notes and a nice bitter finish
