Bottle, 0.33l. Waxed bottle cap, not sure if this is necessary for a lager but hey, there it is. Anyway, cloudy copper pour, one finger frothy white head. Long lasting, excellent head retention, nice lacing on the glass. Subtle on the nose, grainy and floral notes, slightly on the sweet side. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, lightweight but with nice chewiness to it. Grainy bittersweet taste. Aroma of malts and grains, grassy hops, subtle herbal spiciness. Candy notes in the background. A bit unbalanced, there's this slightly harsh bitterness in the background that constantly lingers in the background and gets stronger with time. Medium lasting finish, bitter. Not bad but pretty much average.

Bottle from Pomalo. Dark chestnut body, off white head, thick. Pleasant chocolate notes in the nose, some coffee, some yeasty, trace phenolic touches. Lean taste, chocolatey, slightly roasty, yeasty touches maybe - very light formic acid (but not quite), some coffee sediment touches, nice body, dryish, but fully enough. Okay.

0.33 l bottle from Pomalo Beer Shop, Zagreb. Shared with Marko. Dark brown, medium beige head. Toasted bread, coffee, milk chocolate, a fruity touch. Aggressive spicy and burnt flavour. Fruity touch, prunes but somehow tart. Smooth, light body, light finish.

Bottle from Pomalo, shared with Hrabren. Hazy golden body, white head. Weird perfumey-flowery notes in the aroma, a bit sharp, yeasty touches, borderline vegetal, somewhat herbal. Medium bodied, initially lightly sweetish before going dry and borderline astringent, but manages to pull it off anyway, slightly grainy, yeasty, herbal touches, just borderline, trace phenolic. Light bitterish touches in the finish. I'm afraid this is too messy for a helles, at least this bottle is. Will hopefully rate it again, these people can do better.

0.33 l bottle shared with little Dina. Black, small persistent beige head. Aroma is chocolate but an oxidized one. Cocoa powder. Chocolate milk. There is a soft aromatic connotation that might be coming from vanilla. Base style unpronounced. Slightly astringent, overly roast, very bitter dark chocolate or raw cocoa powder. Earthy. Quite smooth, medium body, moderate carbonation, lasting very dry finish. Needs more balancing.

Bottled from Spicy Days, shared with heavy. Murky dark brown body, pretty much no head. Cocoa, light vanilla, sweetish aroma, light yeastiness, light coffee. Pretty promising - buuuuut the taste is fairly simplistic though, very dry, slightly tart cocoa. That's just about it.
