26/IV/15 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakkerà) @ day 2 of ZBF 2015 (Leuven) - BB: 1/VII/17 (2015-532)
Little cloudy amber beer, creamy yellowish head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, bit soapy, passion fruits, spicy touch, weird chemical smell, like band-aid. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: chemical, lots of band-aid, bit dirty, dry, very spicy, is that cardamom or something? Aftertaste: very spicy, chemical, rubbery, funky and weird. Did not like.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgie, consumed at home Sunday 29th March 2015 Black on the pour, soft in the mouth, filmy off white head. A little ashy in mouth. Fruity with a reasonable blast of citrus. As BIPAs go this is good rather than great, I like it but could have been a bit hoppier. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Pours a dark brown color, topped with a hefty beige colored head. Aroma of roasted malts, notes of chocolate and some caramel. Taste roasty, some chocolate present. Bitter in the finish, some metallic feel in the aftertaste. Not a bad one.
