Description
Behind Bendorf hides the name of a microbrewery. A microbrewery, or an urban craft beer factory, located in the Neudorf district, in the heart of Strasbourg! Founded at the beginning of 2013 by Benjamin Pastwa, the Bendorf brewery has continued to grow and this is how four people today ensure the proper functioning of the young company: Soizic, Félix, Matthieu and Benjamin . The goal of a brewery is of course to create, brew and then offer high quality beers with strong aromatic power for tasting. Our beers are generously hopped. At Bendorf, we love hops and we love working with it in all its forms.

Bottle. Amber with big fluffy of white head. Lots of pine, grapefruit peel, bitter herbs like the alpine herb candies, flowers and soap, some caramel. Taste is bitter at first with a medium sweet middle and bitter finish. Medium bodied. Better then the first version, still soapy but there’s more balance here.

Bottle. Black with creamy mocca head. Lots of coffee at first, dry cocoa powder, aromatic hops with lime and pine resin, flowers, sugared grapefruit, light mango too. Some dough, brown bread and a light underlying sweetness. Mostly bitter throughout though. Slightly watery feel, otherwise quite nice feel. Good use of hops here!

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good .Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, quite malty-yeasty, light fruity notes of lemon. Dry background. Finish wheaty malty, not too dry. Quite drinkable. Not bad!

bottle from Bièrerie Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Hazy pale yellow, small white head. Resiny-yeasty nose. Starts like a typical bière blanche, then a resiny touch tunes in. Works really well!
