Description
Behind Bendorf hides the name of a microbrewery. A microbrewery, or an urban craft beer factory, located in the Neudorf district, in the heart of Strasbourg! Founded at the beginning of 2013 by Benjamin Pastwa, the Bendorf brewery has continued to grow and this is how four people today ensure the proper functioning of the young company: Soizic, Félix, Matthieu and Benjamin . The goal of a brewery is of course to create, brew and then offer high quality beers with strong aromatic power for tasting. Our beers are generously hopped. At Bendorf, we love hops and we love working with it in all its forms.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden, with a creamy and lacing, off-white head. Chewing gum aroma, but rather subdued. Medium body, slightly caramellish malt base and again these bubble gum notes. Not very bitter at all. Interesting, more sort of old school British in style rather than US. 300514

Many thanks for this bottle to jaghana. Dark gold pour with a floral and fruitynose, good citrus hoppy bitterness pretty well balanced with golden malt.

bottle, courtesy of jaghana. Merci beaucoup! Hazy amber-brown colour, fluffy beige head. This is more intensive than 6.2, almost as 6.1. The maltiness comes through better, the hop profile too. Hard to tell the difference between this one and 6.1 - perhaps the citrusy, grapefruity touch was slightly more intensive in 6.1, whereas here we have more resiny bittterness in the hops. Delicious.

bottle, courtesy of jaghana. Merci beaucoup! Hazy amber-brown colour, fluffy beige head. Not as full-bodied ans 6.1 and less intensive. Even the malty base seems shy, hops aren’t as aromatic, here they are quite grassy and resiny without the grapefruit touch. Nevertheless, tis still is a highly enjoyable beer.

bottle, courtesy of jaghana. Merci beaucoup! Hazy amber-brown colour, fluffy beige head. Lovely hop aroma, resiny and fruity with hints of grapefruit. Full-bodied, lovely malty base supports the hop flavours perfectly. Smooth and velvety palate. Very, very good.
